Can anyone tell me what the current departure tax is? I've found different prices, from $15 to $35. Also, what is the sales tax right now?

Thanks!!!

$35 US for non- Belizean Citizens, it is included in some ticket but have $35 US cash just incase.
10% GST (sales tax)

Jesse, it appears you may not understand the economics of the court process. A lawsuit in this instance is hardly a practical idea. You should get out more.

I did have a very nice chat about the requirement changes with the departure employees last September. Those I spoke with agreed it made sense and had made their job much easier from a customer relation stadpoint. I haven't heard of anyone having any difficulties since the rule change; of course, that doesn't mean there haven't been any.

I'd call it effective synergy.

Then, I'll just have to stay as a guest of the country until they do accept thier own currency.

Seriously, I was there over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and they did in fact take BZE dollars.
