Sheesh, I thought this was the END of the rainy season??? We arrive this Sat. for a week's stay and forecasts continue to discuss scattered showers and even thunderstorms well into next week, yikes! We're hoping to get on the reef daily, so guess we'll plan for morning trips and hope for the best... anyway, a bad day in SP town is better than the best day at work, ha!

Morning diving is best - sun has been shining then for a number of days. Wind tends to pick up in the afternoon.

Ha. Like heck.

I will add another bottle of rum to the checked luggage...

Hey ScubaLdy do U know if viz on the reef has been reduced noticably after all the recent rain? Happens to springs in and reefs off coast of FL where I'm from, just curious, thx. (This old diver will get wet on any pretext).

We really lucked out; we were supposed to be there the week of the 8th (which we hear it rained all of that week), but changed our plans to this past week (we just arrived home this morning) and the weather was great!
You'll have fun anyway, no matter the weather!
Wish we were still there!

Mind you, we have had as much as 15" of rain a day recently. The roads were dreadful (getting better now) and my house was moated.
