Dear Jane, The Lamanai Ruin trip is nice...and very popular. Snorkeling at Mexico Rocks is great! About the 10-20 ft. range and is great for taking underwater shots with those disposables....good light at that depth. The Sailboat Cruise with George Eiley on the Rum Punch II is nice....an all day trip on a big sail boat to Caye Caulker with a stop at the marine park first....and complimentary Rum Punch!! George is a great guy too! Hope this helps! Visit http://www.glentree.com

I live in South Texas, and wish I could live in Belize, so I visit as often as I can.

Jane, Its a great snorkel.water fairly shallow. Being a PADI instructor myself, I think the hole 5 Star thing is overated. They are a good safe operator. -jonathan

Jane in beautiful PA another one LMAO = laughing my ass off RG <----- smiling coincidentially, we are leaving our kids with my mom 9,5,3...g,b,b. alas, we leaving the 14th so our paths won't cross unless we get belizian fever and don't leave. give the snorkleing a try, the wif and I love it, first time tried in hawaii, got hooked. she says great activity can do together but without talk. ha ha as opposed to tennis, golf or basketball where the comments are flying.

Jane, I just spoke with Steve at Belize Ocean Divers and the fact is his operation is indeed a PADI 5 star. It was a 5 star IDC, which means they held instructor training, which is not available at this time. Thought I would let you know. Have a great trip!!! -Jonathan
