This has been such a GREAT read and I honestly can't wait to peruse the rest of their adventures!

Hi I am Sky KRaineys's son I just wanted to add my input on some of this so here it goes. Ya Fernando's guest house was pretty cool. the water was soooo gross. i thought i would try to walk out on to the beach. BIG MISTAKE!!! I took one step on and i was in about 2 and a half feet of the nastiest smelling goop ever. It was sooo sticky and eww. Ha ha i smelled but what could i do. I did not want to get it in the house and i did not want to go in the water, but i haqd to go in the water. I ended up going to the end of the dock to wash my legs off then into the house to take a shower. After that my brother and i decided to go out in a canoe. Yet another mistake. i am bigger then my brother and i was in the back. so we started taking on water. And we were bottoming out so we were kinda stuck. we pushed with these sticks we had that were long enough to reach the bottom of the goop and finally managed to get out of the water. What an experience.

and oh ya. I am the one that saved us a few times because of my knowlage of spanish.

Hi I'm Cheyenne, I'm 10. My momma is K rainey and my brother is Sky. I'm going to write aboute the Iguada motel. The pool there was not deep. I was dissapointed [Frown] . I swam in it anyway. It was kind of... well.. gross!!!!!!! There was dirt in it. There was a girl named Terren there. Her Aunt thought I was comical. mostly because I tried to walk on water. That night I woke up to my brother, Dakota coughing. I was furious (In Belize, try to get a full night of sleep.) Now I will write about Fernando's inn. The first time we went there I was scared. It was old and run down. There was a deck and below it a dining room the size of our kitchen. You might think that last sentence was funny, but our kitchen is small. That night was a living nightmare. I lay awake listining to buckets of water pour down from the sky and i was really really warm. i tried to get to sleep but i just woke up again. Thats all im gonna write. bye

My mom says I didn't like it there. Even though i dont want to move i did like Tonys inn and resort and The Best Western and the snorkling in San Pedro. It was always funny to travel in the cars with my brothers. They always joke. Once we were passing a big place that i wanted to stay at and i said " Is that a castle or a cabin" My brothers wouldnt stop teasing me till the end of the trip.

Here's an exciting tidbit- Yesterday the family Dr. had to remove 8 BOTFLY LARVAE from Dakota's head! HE had some bumps on his head that did not show up until a week after we got back. I kind of blew him of, as he is a bit of a hypochondriac (He's also been convinced that he had SARS and West Nile although we have never traveled anywhere he could get them)...Finally two weeks ago, a week after the first two bumps on his scalp appeared I actually touched the bumps and was horrified to feel the side of the things. I took him in and the Dr. drained a couple of them and put him on antibiotics. We had a bout with MRSA staph last year and we thought it waws probably ore of that. I told her we'd been to Belize but that the bups did not appear until a week after we returned.

FAst forward two weeks to yesterday. HE has been unable to sleep with 6 large boils on his head. As a 7th grader, it's been pretty miserable for hi. The doc pulled what she thought might be an ingrown hair out of the largest one, but under a microscope she didn't recognize it. She called the pathologist and he told here he thought it was larvae feces!

Two hours and 20 shots of local later, Dakota had a collection of Larvae to brag about. A true victory for the boy who cried wolf. He named the biggest one Bob.
