We have a preference for cabanas over hotels.We are looking for a beautiful beach with inviting water like Mar de Tumbo. We can walk two miles to town without a problem or biking even better. Any suggestions for accomodations that are the least "American" plastic looking but yet are comfortable and convenient. Thanks and we have found this sight very valuable in getting information that is accurate.

Arthurs on the Caribbean has a lovely little cabana right on the beach about 6 miles north of the cut. It's spotless, compact and has a lovely beach and swimming dock. It is adjacent to a 2-story house lived in by the owners who are warm and hospitable.
