My wife and I are considering taking up
residency and running a business on the Caye.
Howevre, we have a 3 year old english daughter who will need schooling.
What is school on Caye like?
what do other expat parents do for their children's schooling at all ages? senfd to Belize City?

There are two good pre schools on the island for children ages 2 to 4. For elementary education we highly recommend L.I.F.E. There is also the government elementary school and
Island Academy.

A friend of mine was telling me that an American who had lived on the island moved back to the States and her daughter was 1 1/2 years ahead of the public school stateside. I believe the country has 80% literacy.
