the Belize BTL ISP was inaccessible from Ambergris Caye from yesterday morning until the close of business. Today access has been erratic and quirky. Since it is the only ISP in Belize, any messages you sent folks were probably delayed at best!

Competition ensures quality service and fair pricing. Monopolies do not! Am looking forward to the day when BTL has some competition.

If you dialed 144 you wouldn't have been able to get through for most of Monday, and the faults "service" at BTL had no one on the exchange (119 rang and rang, but no one picked up).

The good news is that you can dial 02 30899 if 144 is down.....this was true on Monday. (Thanks to Tim Jeffers of Banana Beach for that information!).
