I was curious. I have two boys age 15 and 12 that we are bringing with us. Will they be allowed to go inside the bars, come dancing with us and attend any beach parties we want to go to? I'm sure the rum punch and beer flows freely. What are the regulations in Belize about this?

They will be welcomed wherever you decide to go.

Persons under 18 can not be served alcoholic beverages in Belize by law. Usually posted somewhere in the bar.

Of course, this doesn't stop them from being served a soft drink or fruit punch or whatever as long as there is no alcohol in it.

I just got back from San Pedro. Don't expect a lot of wild beach parties, you will not find them. Most people are just plain worn out by a day of diving their butts off. We did have a nice BBQ on the beach one night. The Chicken Drop was pretty wild. Avoid Tarzan's unless you are into BAD local kareoke. I mean BAD. You might enjoy a night of drinking and dancing at Fido's. I'd say it's up to their parents if the boys imbibe adult beverages. Let them have a few Belekin's and they will sleep better.
