Hi Gang;
It has been a long time since I have been on here, but I have an urgent request.
Friends have just booked a last minute 14 day cruise (I know, it is a bad word) LOL which includes a stop in Belize city. I have been trying to get them to come with us to San Pedro for years now and if we can get them to the island for a day I think they will be hooked.
The problem is that Gary hates flying, so, is it possible for them to get an express water taxi from B. C. after 9:00 AM to San Pedro and back to the ship for 6:00 PM. I am not sure of the arrival and departure times of the ship but it is the Valor of the Carnival lines and will probably be in Belize on Feb. 15th or 16th.
Any help would be greatly appreciated;
Danl

But a "pint" in the right direction might lead you to spending so much time in a wonderful watering hole that you miss your boat!!

Sorry Tacogirl - I just couldn't resist that one!

Isn't there a day trip off the cruise that takes them snorkelling at Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley with a bit of time in San Pedro? That way they could get in some snorkelling and still enjoy a bit of time on the island. It might just be the ticket.

I have friends that visit me in San Pedro when they stop off on the cruise ship but they fly out of Municipal. The problem is, when they are unloading people off the ship, the people who have scheduled tours get first priority which means you might not get off the ship until 9-9:30 and would miss the boat. Even when my friends fly in, it only gives them a few hours on the island before they have to get back.

IF they offer a trip to Hol Chan/San Pedro right from the ship, I would tell them to sign up for it.

There definitely seems to be a "San Pedro" tour option with the cruise ships. I would imagine there is a "snorkel and non-snorkel" option too.
