Hi everyone

My name is Kristine and I have been lurking on this site for a while now, but have never posted. My husband and I made our first trip to Ambergris Caye last year. We fell in love with island and are planning another trip again the first week in May. I want to bring some items for SAGA, and have already ordered some collars, food dishes, and some toys. I just want to know if there is anything else that is needed that we could bring with us? I'm also planning to ask our Vet here if there is anything they could donate. Thanks!

Kristine

kmahany,
Make sure and check back here and/or with SAGA website before you leave as to an updated list. Some items become more urgent from time to time.

Also, as a helpful hint, you might "mingle" the items among your own things in your luggage so that they do not appear to be part of a commercial shipment. Normally no problem bringing in the donated items.

Very generous of you and much appreciated!

I would also like to bring some items for SAGA, is it ok to ship things directly? I work in a Hospital (OR) and there is a lot of good stuff tossed. I could arrange a shipment almost monthly. incidently it will be my and my boyfriends first trip to belize this may.

RNdiver:
It is possible to ship items direct, I shipped some of the smaller items on thier list just last week and recieved confirmation of arrival.

However they were not medical items as such. more or less the collar/leash, dog /cat treats , exam gloves etc. type items.

I'm sure anything you send/Bring will be gratefully accepted.

When in May will you be there. My wife and I will be there the first week in May.

Hello Kristine;

Good luck with your vet. I hope they can help out. I am sure SAGA will be happy to receive anything you can manage to bring.

Where are you staying on AC? My wife and I will be there at the same time. Maybe a meet up for a cold one could be arranged.

See you in paradise.
