Has anyone heard anything about a festival this weekend put on by the Caye Caulker Lobsterfest Committee? Or is it just a rumour?

They are having two Lobsterfests -one for the season closing and one for the opening.Next one is this weekend

When does lobsterfest end this year? We're going to be in Caye Caulker Feb 14th-24th (can't wait). Hope we get in on it. We missed by 1 day last year;)

I guess it was the best kept secret on Caye Caulker.

we are going to be in belize june 20 to july 4. we would like to spend the last part of our trip in cc. when is the lobster fest and should we make room reservations

Its like pulling teeth trying to get a firm date for the lobsterfest way in advance. The lobsterfest committee seems to like the element of last minute surprise. But if tradition means anything, it is always held the first weekend in July. The island books out quickly for the fest so I do recomment early reservations.
