Does anyone knows if there's a website for Independence and or Placencia with a message board?I'd like to focus more in that area for relocation.

I am not sure if there is a specific message board for either of these locations, but there is another board www.belizeforums.com you might want to look at.

Thanks,familiar with that site also.When I plug in Independence into Google,it brings up the History of Belize's Independence,not the Town...grrrr

www.placencia.com, not a message board, but has good info about the area.

Our place in Belize is located in Independence Village.
The number of internet users is still pretty low and the people that I know that do have internet would not be visiting any of the message boards or forums. I would classify Ind. as a working village with most of the locals boating over to Placencia for jobs.
Try Independence Village Belize instead of the word town.
Some of the best pictures that I have ever seen of the village where posted by a church group from the states, but that url has since ceased to work.
Independence is pretty low key.
