My husband and myself would like to move to San Pedro or to the mainland. My husband is a heavy equipment operator, loader, back hoe ect. (20 years), surveyor/chainman,journeyman painter,has also worked 10 years as a commercial fisherman/boat captain. You cannot just come here and work. There are work permits needed or you need to apply for residency first. All of this takes time.

unless a business needs you....and then they can get your necessary papers quickly.

Thank you for your info. We are already working on the permits and all to do the move. We've looked at several properties and just want to feel where the need would be more for what we can do.

If you do not have enough money to start your own business -stay away = as you will not be able to afford to live here

You have to live here 12 months before you can put in for residency
