I wondered if Belize follows daylight savings time? Up here in Michigan we move the clock forward 3 weeks ahead of time this year, does this happen in Belize?

Where are you from in Michigan? I grew up in Michigan near Traverse City but now live in Las Vegas and am working on moving to San Pedro for part of the year.

No time changes here and the "spring forward" time in Michigan is a ways off yet. Once that happens Belize time would be akin to mountain time. Presently we are in sync with central time.

Deadserious-

We live on Gun Lake which is south of Grand Rapids. how long have you been in Vegas? And it sounds great to be able to move to SP part time!

This will be our 3rd trip to SP and we love it, we used to hit a different island every year but since we came to SP 3 years age I can't seem to break away!!!

Lakegirl - I know exactly what you mean! laugh

Our first trip was October 2005, and we're now planning our third. Unfortunately we can't quite afford to go as often as we'd like. I had someone at work ask why we didn't go somewhere new on our next trip since we'd already been twice. But you have to go there to truly understand!

I moved to San Diego from Northern Michigan back in the late 90's and have been in Las Vegas for about 5 years or so with a brief on/off stop in New York for part of that time.

My wife and I were married in San Pedro during the hurricane in October 2005.
