Bubo comes from the Greek "boubon" meaning groin or 'swollen groin'. ......
So this poor bird Marty photographed is named,
'Swollen Groin of the virgin Queen Elizabeth'
And Bubba said Victorian ornithologist didn't have a sense of humor.
