Q1) Is it possible to do a day trip to the Maruba SPA from Ambergris Caye? If so what is the best most economical way to do that?

Q2) What will the weather be like on Ambergris Caye in January on land and what will the water temperature be?

I encourage you to do a Maruba Spa day. It was a wonderful day as the ladies went to the spa and the men went fishing. Since we were staying at Ramon's Village they took care of the arrangements. We left around 9:00 am and returned close to 5:00. The Spa is fabulous!! You have time for at least 3 treatments and some soaking time in the mineral baths and a great lunch. I highly recommend the mood mud treatment and a massage. It was a day to remember, we even took pictures ala mud. We are already planning the next trip.

Yeah! Thanks for the reply. I had just hung up the phone and confirmed our plane reservations when I read your message. I can't wait until January! We will definitely work Maruba into the trip. I love Belize!!!! We went to Ambergris Caye in March of 1999 but did not try the Spa. I am so excited to come back. Thanks again!

For another spa, a really professional and well-run one, you might also consider the new one at Chaa Creek lodge in Cayo District.
