No I saw the site and had a quick look at one of the first floor condo's. I put out a few feelers to some of the locals and did not get the greatest feedback. But the negative feedback appeared to be directed towards the builders personality. I guess he is not very popular.
So I am trying to make a decison on the property and not on the popularity of the builder.
Thanks for asking.

Hi Pam
Sorry but I don't know what you mean by IMHO.

IMHO-In my humble opinion.

I've already told you more than I know.

The Cloisters has been a wonderful place for my wife and I to stay. So much so that we purchased there. The locals would not be a good place to obtain information on this project for a number of reasons. The best thing to do on this project or any other for that matter is to stay there for a week or so.

One mile North of town, no traffic and dust, two bedroom units under three hundred thousand, self insured, low monthly fees, swimming pool, community pier, restaurant and pool. Really nice!

All of the second and third floor units are sold which leaves the ground floor units as another poster stated earlier. The view and the breeze is a little better on the second floor.

Have only seen it from the seaside, and from there it is definitely one of the nicest looking and well designed beachfront developments in that particular area. Don't understand the comments about the developer not being popular. None is loved by everybody all time. Bob has done a good job and is a nice enough guy. No worries.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I have a question since you recently bought a unit.
Is it the type of development where the shareholders (ie, common condo owners) own a percentage of the land, I think it is called a Strata Title.
I love the location and like the layout of the condos, and I am doing my best not to jump into a situation that I will be sorry about later.
Thank you again for your time and consideration!

Thanks!
As I said, I don't want to make a decision by what others on a small island are saying...

The units each have a number of shares in the corporation with voting rights. The board will be duly elected and will serve at the pleasure of all the owners. We reviewed this with our attorney and found it quite common and successful. Bob Kjorlien will be happy to send you all the information needed to make an informed decision. Good luck and hope to see you there!

You really need to come down and see for yourself. Have you ever been to AC?

You can look at all the pics you want, but nothing beats the feel of the real thing.

Yes - The Cloisters has the best price for location (my opinion) - that is why we bought last year. Second story unit.

So I assume you mean that it is a "Strata" situation???
