I am seeking a great PADI instructor. I want to take a Rescue Diver certifications course for a reasonable fee. (I am currently an Advanced Open Water Diver) Any recommendations?

Bubba,

Try the shops that would be affliated with the SunBreeze or Ramons. These are the larger operations with perhaps a more varied staff. We used the Scuba Hut last April to certify two new divers in damn rough waters and were quite happy. The shops listed in the diving portion of the AC Home Page seem to be the top picks. Most of them have their own web pages with a profile and resume of their owners and personnel.

We are usually in SP with two instructors, a divemaster and an advanced OW. (And of course the one non-diver) Inspite of that we are very picky about what operations we use, and ALWAYS use a local divemaster.

your best bet would be to take the rescue diver course at home. it would be a bunch cheaper, and not many shops offer that level of dive education. like the previous post said, do check around, contact the the shops to see what is offered.
