The Tux's with no shoes... we were a bit worried because it was BLAZING hot until the day of the wedding when the ocean breeze kicked into full force and cooled it off. Everyone was in silk, tux's, formal attire- NUTS if you ask me but that's what the bride wanted.

The wedding was a huge hit (not mine- i did mine VERY small scale in Lake Tahoe- close to home) and my sister was DELIGHTED with every bit of it. VH is a resort (typical resort stuff) but we REALLY loved staying at Changes In Latitudes (B&B) since the owners were there all the time hanging out with us and chatting and telling us cool stuff. Also, VH is pretty far from town and when it's hot it's a LONG ride. Changes is just at the edge of town and it's really nice to just hop into town when you want. It's a nice walk up the beach too- VH is a bit farther for walking.
