Does anyone know of how we would go about booking a shuttle van to pick 8 people and luggage up at the airport and transport us to San Ignacio area????????? Where could we get such info and what type of cost would we expect?????????? Thank you.

No shuttles, only Taxi, for 8 people about $150 US or more. Or take a taxi to bus station. Taxi fare for 8 in a van to bus about $40 US. The bus to San Ignacio $5.50 each. Or go accross the parking lot from the Airport to the Embassy Hotel and talk to John , he is a character, he may have someone drive you, he also rents cars very reasonable, $69 a day including tax and insurance, most other car rentals about $100.

if you have rooms booked somewhere, many places offer this service for a fee. contact/email your hotel/lodge and ask.

Depending on what you are doing in the area I definalty recommend renting a car or van if you are going to San Ignacio there are so many beautiful sites to see on the way to and just past. most car companies have unlimited miles and are not that expensive there usually is a $750.oo fee that is held on your credit card. Plus it is a very easy road to follow.
