Hi Not sure where to find the rate of exchange.
When looking at hotel rates all I see are in US$ and that taxis $5 from San Pedro to hotels in Ambergris. Is this the currency that is used then? No one exchanges their US $ for Belizean currency?

islabonita, Exchange rate is $1.00US = $2.00BZ. No need to exchange Us $$ everyone takes US $$ in Belize. However if you have a large amount of US $$ you want to exchange you can get a little bit more (In Belize dollars) At Milo's exchange on middle street in San Pedro.
