I need some help

Through some bit of miscommunication I was unaware that my hotel didn't offer a ferry service from Belize City to San Pedro.

My problem is this, I arrive in Belize City at 3pm and need to be at ferry to San Pedro by 4:30. After luggage, customs, taxi am I gonna make it?

How is the ferry ride? Are there later options?

Most of all where does the ferry in Belize City leave from?

You should be ok. Customs doesn't usually take too long then you can catch a $20-$25 10 min. cab ride to the ferry. All cab drivers know where it is.

I think you'd be cutting it close for the water taxi. IME, it takes about 25 minutes to get downtown. Everything would have to go perfectly for you to make it.

As a alternative that would allow you to relax a little upon arrival, would you consider flying out of BZE? If it's just you, when you add up the cost of the land taxi and the water taxi, it's not that much more expensive.
