I am thinking of coming to CC for an extended stay to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life in the US. I have already found a place to stay and priced that.

My question is roughly how much spending money per day USD do you think I'd need to cover necessities such as food and stuff? I will not have a kitchen available so will be eating in the restaurants or whatever is available.

What is the average price of a meal on the island? Not looking for anything fancy

Food prices have gone up in the last year or so, but their are still lots of $5.00 meals to be had, Stew Chicken, BBQ chicken, tacos, burritos, Chinese food. Fruit Stands are reasonable, we have a pretty good bakery, donuts and fruit for breakfast for a few dollars, Drinks are spendy here, a glass of wine cost more than most meals. Get your One Barrel Rum at the store.

Average $5U.S. for breakfast (including coffee or juice), $10 for lunch and $15 for dinner and you should be ok.
