I am recommending that you should book your guides, especially mainland tours, when you first arrive at your hotel/resort. We took our sweet time, and missed going to the mainland, due to waiting too late, and the guide could not get a full group, and had to cancel, if we had planned better, they could have included us with another guide. Just a hint.

I agree with Chloe on this one. Also, we waited to do our fishing until the last couple days of our trip. A tropical storm blew in the last two days and fishing the flats was out. That's the whole reason my husband wanted to go to Belize. (He'd seen the Sunday fishing shows on TV and fell in love)He was so disappoiinted. If fishing and snorkeling etc. are at the top of your "must do" list, do them first, so if the weather doesn't cooperate you can reschedule. We did in fact sail during one small storm and that was rather exciting!!!!Remember, some of you will be traveling during the rainy season.

Jeez. You guys sure know how to take the fun out of having last minute disappointments. Just remember, if everyone heeds your advice it will be that much harder to schedule with the guide or tour that YOU really want.

Perhaps some things are best kept with our own counsel. Just Kidding!
