Can anyone tell me how frequently you come across Belizean currency that is older than year 2000? Thank you very much.

It Happens Jason

I watch my change and have got a few interesting coins. Not sure they are worth much but I like to set them aside all the same.

50 cent pieces from 1991, 1989
they do not make them now

2 1985 quarters that say to reap and to plant on them

I have a bunch of dimes some dates are 1981, 1980, 1979, 1974
they do not make dimes anymore (I always considered it good luck to find dimes and have found them in some pretty interesting places)

1 nickel from 1981 that says world food day on it

I have not checked my Bills at all Jason but I will have a look and see what I see.

Some of coins I was checking last night were a little worn and it was hard to see the dates but i am pretty sure 70's is the earliest money I have found so far.

Anything specific I should be looking for date or other wise?

Yw Jason

I will keep a watch for them. What if they are in rough shape?

When are you planning a visit?

No coins of value?

I am coming there for a week on July 4th. I have never been and am a bit unsure of what to do. Even still, I am really excited because of everything I have read.

Some of those coins are valuable, but dollar bills are more valuable to me. Any shape.

Dollar bills in good condition fetch a lot of money. I sold one for $80 last year and it was not even mint. Most are very worn.
