I thought they were "done" bricking the "park" including a "fountain" the doesn work. You know in some countries they acutally make it easier for the locals to sell their food and stuff and make it a more appealing area for tourist. Oh well. I obviously dont know nothing.

Razor they bricked a large part of it before where they are working on now is where the food stands used to be.

I hope they do do something nice to the barge dock as that could be a nice sunning and swimming area.

I would also hope that the food vendors make their way back there somehow, they were a big part of the charm of the park.

John who does chicken bbq Sundays is now near Milo's on middle street doing his Sunday bbq. I am not sure why be he said they told him he could not be in the park anymore. He is a great guy and one of my 2 favorite people to get bbq from. He is always smiling and glad to see you anytime.

re barge dock... Good point, TC. Relocation controversy aside, I think the removal of the barge dock from downtown is a good thing. Park clean up intentions are good despite my preferences for a better area for the local entrepreneurs.

Good to hear that John is still doing bbq. He always said hi to us even when he wasn't selling bbq and we were just passing each other on the street during the day.
