I am doing time-line posts on my blog, and letting people know to check there for info and pass it along to friends and family.

Please keep in mind for your friends here if power goes out keep emails and private messages down.

I will also try and get out to shoot some pictures so you can all see how things are later on. Right now we are at the cleaning and organizing stage.

Wrap it in plastic and get it off the floor stage
Pull the boat out of the water stage
Put plywood over the windows stage
Take every other board out of the dock decking stage

Tip from a friend

Freeze 1 gallon water containers to have as ice in your cooler and then it becomes drinkable afterwards.

If you empty a bit of the water first the plastic won't crack, letting all that water drain away. Learned that the hard way. You can also freeze water in zip lock bags.
