It was a spooky night, and this is what we found this morning. Nothing that can't be fixed, and we started cleaning up directly after a traditional Belizean breakfast (Boiled eggs tomato sauce, sausage and flower tortilla).

We confirmed the arrival of the first guests mean time for tomorrow morning - the Smoothie Bar will be open then as well, and the Restaurant will be open as of lunch time.

We are so grateful Portofino came out of the storm fairly undamaged! We were there 2 weeks ago and can't wait to come back. I got to swim with sharks for the first time and a manta ray came right up to me and "danced" with me! Needless to say we LOVED the diving in Belize and the people at Portofino. Thanks again for mailing the hammock to us. We got it yesterday. If ya'll need anything, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Dear Kim and John,

We are ok over here and will be back in business tomorrow. We loved having you here, and hope to see you back one day. Happy you enjoyed being here, but then again, you stayed in our best room! Think of us when you sit in that hammock!
