Hi all, I am just trying to get a perspective on Dean. I was on AC when Wilma brushed by. I know that Deans' storm itself (winds/rain) must have been much more severe then Wilma, but I was wondering how much worse was the wave action (storm surge?).

When I was there during Wilma, the waves were coming all the way into the alley by the Mayan Princess and into Lily's patio.

Just curious, and glad to hear that the damage was not what was feared.

The surge was about the same during Dean and Wilma, the waves though where bigger and stronger during Dean, and of course the wind was much stronger now on Ambergris Caye.
