san pedro: morning is here, its light. breeze strong, not as much as last night. 35 mph winds from the SW, rain light. not that much damage. report from veranda of coral beach hotel. most of the docks downtown are in pretty good shape, 90% good. excellent.
Our house is 5 miles north of San Pedro (Villa Turquesa) just next to Rojo Lounge/Azul. I just spoke to Carlos, our caretaker, and he tells me that most of the docks up our way are either gone or significantly damaged. Docks took a major hit to the north of San Pedro. Power is out. I will keep you posted.
CNN quoted Jeff Spiegel of Azul resort saying most of the docks and piers have been washed away on the western side. There wasn't a comment about the ones on the East side.
Thanks Marty during Kieth I was in Russia and you were the only contact with my family. On this one I am in Nigeria and fortunately Kathryn Tazmara and Connor all are in Canada or the states. I am dying to know if the house made it and if Tazmara's freinds that were up there are ok. Scott's beside Sundiver.
So glad to hear from Chris and Mike Madrid. We are in process of buying one of Chris' condos and that report was encouraging. I'm so worried about the island. Good luck everybody.
