On behalf of my friends and family in North America, i want to thank you all for posting. While CNN and the weather channel are sensationalist forms of media intended to keep viewers rivited, they do NOTHING to ease the anxiety, fear and pain our loved ones had while worrying about us. I had given my family this message board and a few of the weather related sites to use to get their information. When i called them today, everyone said the same thing...thank god for those links and the message board.

so, thanks for posting information as you received it. Dean could have been a whole lot worse for us....and frankly it was supposed to be according to all accounts. We are very very fortunate.
