As you would expect, your question comes up quite often. Here's a place to start:

My favorite places to eat and MUST have menu items:

Wild Mango's: coconut shrimp, jerk grouper
Blue Water: calamari, shred head sushi roll, snook
Caliente: bacon wrapped ginger rum shrimp, coconut curry shrimp
Caramba: seafood appetizer platter, lobster fajitas
BC's: sunday BBQ (generous portions, local tradition)
Rico's: combo ceviche and margaritas, lobster salad sandwich
Victoria House: best pina colada's on the island
Manuel's (across from airstrip): huevos rancheros for breakfast, tacquitos for lunch
George's: BEST breakfast, all items. Awesome bloody mary's
Estelle's: breakfast burrito
Many more, I could go on and on...

Carl 60, Hightide has provided a good start to the endless list of places to visit for excellant food.
Need to also add:
Ali Baba
Beach 'n Kitchen
BC's nachos
Fryjacks pretty much anywhere
and the list goes on..
Suffice to say that you will not be able to visit all the recommended places on your first visit.
