Please place a link to the article. I've been on Weather Underground and I can't see any mention of development in the Southwestern Caribbean on the Jeff Masters blog.

Agree. Models tend to show what was invest 91L and now tropical depression 8 headed on a more northerly path toward PR and maybe the Southeast US. Looks like we will be spared this one. But still early in the season.

I saw the same speculation on the crownweather site. So far so good though. Nothing yet.

I read Jeff Masters blog everyday and didn't see it mentioned there. But I get dazzled by all the pretty pictures and lose my train of thought.

It seems that we need about 3 days notice for evacutions to take place. Locking down my house and office now takes about half a day.

So, hang in there, be calm.....
