Does anyone know if there is a Chinese grocery store in Belize city?

I am missing china town today.

We go to one on New Road that has a great selection. If you know the city go up Queen street to the police station and turn left(New Road) Go past bicycle shop and about two blocks on the left is the place. Cannot remember the name. They are a wholesale place for US goods, lots of Costco stuff and a good selection of chinese goods, spices sauces etc.

My Mom is chinese. There are some Chinese grocery stores that have the secret stash inventory hidden up sets of rickety stairs. The Indians have the same secret stores too. I'll ask my Mom if she can remember which ones. But if you ask George Wong he has a good handle on this info, including the best markets to buy the right veggies too.

It's like most places, in the end it's who you know not what you know that helps you get by.

I would just be in heaven to have a can of mr brown iced coffee or jasmine iced tea, right now and crack a fortune cookie ha ha.

I used to spend a lot of time in China town when we lived in Toronto, it was a 10 minute walk from our house.

I've seen jasmine tea here on the island. If you can buy fortune cookies here they will be stale. Don't know what Mr. Brown iced coffee is - American Chinese maybe?

Was Jasmine tea in bottle or just in packets Amanda? I used to buy green bottles of it like you would a reg size pop in the fridge section. Very tasty.
