Belize is great and buying land here can be a wonderful thing to do. If that were not so, this website would not be so lively and active and filled with people who love this country.
When buying, buy in person adn from somebody with a solid local reputation - not from a slick website, and not due to "advertorials" (endorsements posted by people who claim to be happy buyers). This applies to everyplace - Belize, Panama, Costa Rica, Dubai, Goa, Florida. ON the internet there are no truth-in-advertising policies implied or enforced.
