Either tow it overland or contact Hyde Shipping in Miami to see if they can put you in touch with someone who regularly ships full size containers.

I shipped my fiberglass pool down with Hyde Shipping out of Port Everglades. It is 15' X 30' X 6'. NO problem. I didn't have to put it in a container.

If you ship the boat consider shrink wrapping it. It's costly but keeps it much cleaner and keeps people out of it while it is sitting around port to port.

Do not ship with fuel.

Theere are some other rules too, I think you have to disengage batteries etc. But the shipping guys will advise you.

Ask for Benny Torres at Hyde. Just google it...

He is in Houston--not Florida
One drawback for shipping from Houston is that your cargo ends up in Big Creek.
It cost me more to get the cargo from Big Creek to the island than it did from Houston to Big Creek.

Big Creek is in southern Belize, near Independance town, about an hours drive north of Punta Gorda. It is about a 5 hour drive to Belize City towing a trailer.
