It has been a while since I have taken the time to enjoy a Sunday break, get on a boat, and "escape" my day to day routine. Well long over due, I did it today and went to Portifino for lunch.

I'm going to keep it short and sweet as I am too full and relaxed to go on and on about it. Boat captain was punctual and more than polite. Food was fabulous and the "peace and quiet" of the north end was over the top.

In closing- if you are a guest of Ambergris Caye please don't miss Portofino's restaurant and bar. If you live here as I do, schedule it in for a weekend break. You won't be disappointed...

I did this during Lobsterfest, earlier this year, and agree that it was fabulous day! The boat ride, lunch and atmosphere was truely wonderful! Hope to do it again SOON!
