I wouldn't say that's moderate, more the other end of the spectrum to the "we're all gonna die" side.

I find humor in the fact that some folks believe the earths temperature is supposed to be about the human race thriving. It don't work that way. If it does, then explain why I'm in Minnesota?

I just find it disingenuous when the talk about climate change is based upon the last 200 or so years (yes I know of the ice core studies dating earlier). Who’s to say what’s normal or average? The present hysteria over global warming seems to be overblown, in the 70’s it was global cooling! Yes I agree we need to do all we can to lessen our impact but let’s not go to the extreme.
As an aside: I find it interesting the people who are the biggest players in this debate are profiting the most from it.
