The Discovery Channel on cable TV had a good program on recent discoveries from the geological and fossil record of Earth. It seems the solar system and Earth is passing through an asteroid and comet shower in cycles of approximately 17,000 to 22,000 years. We have all heard of the asteroid that hit the Yucatan 65 million years ago and wiped out the dinosaurs. Well it seems that another asteroid hit the Artic ice sheet 13,000 years ago with equal impact. As it was estimated a mile in length and traveling over a 100,000 mph. Apparently the combination of geological and fossil evidence indicates it wiped out the big mammals like the Mammoths, giant sloths and such, partially from the original impact, concussion waves and heat and fires covering everything in the Northern Hemipshere. There is some debate, but theories abound that CLIMATE CHANGE occurred on asteroid impact and may have taken more than a thousand years to even out, in a new system of weather. During which most species in the world had to readjust and a lot of the bigger animals simply died of starvation and loss of food sources. North American sediments indicate that raging fires consumed all of North America 13,000 years ago and around 30,000 to 35,000 years ago also. The datings are not very exact. Mammoth tusks dug up by the tons and still traded on the open market, have been studied in quantity, and star dust, or Bucky balls, created in the center of stars have been found in comet and asteroid dust embedded in them. These things do not occur on Earth naturally. In the center of the Bucky Balls, incased, are diamonds of nano size, only seen by electron microscope. A million of them might sit on the head of a human hair, they are so small. Interestingly enough, the mammoth tusks carbon dated to around 30,000 to 35,000 years ago, but the meteorite dust embedded in the mammoth tusks only occurred 13,000 years ago. Giving the theory that there is a cyclical asteroid impact swarm that Earth moves through. Presumed to be out of the elliptic. Because of the tilt of the Earth and the rotation of the solar system planets around the Sun, this cyclical asteroid and comet swarm seems to be striking Earth only in the Northern Hemisphere. The famous flood of Noahs Ark could have been caused by the 13,000 year asteroid or comet strike on the arctic ice mass? Certainly concussion and heat waves went over 5000 miles covering the terrain at supersonic speeds.
The Ice Ages then, seem to be created by climate change caused by Northern Hemisphere asteroid or comet hits. The strange thing is; that all this research is Northern Hemisphere related, but does effect eventually the whole planet. Human history will have to be re-written, as at present we only have modern history which records the last 6000 years. Though there is a town in Patagonia that dates at 11,000 years and several excavated cities in Pakistan that date around 9,700 years. The several cities in Pakistan were covered by desert and as modern as anything today, with hot water baths and sewage systems. The Vedas of the Mahjabarata ( spelling unsure ) have stories of these ancient times and battles with weapons we have not even discovered yet, scientifically speaking. We know for example that Giant Slothes were being eaten by humans in Belize during the last Ice Age before climate change of 13,000 years ago from our fossil record.
Genetic studies state that humans came out of Africa some 14 million years ago, which must now be revisited, as the geological and fossil record of the equatorial belt and the southern hemisphere indicate humans where probably here on Earth as long as 150 million years ago. The Vedas speak of alien human beings, here on Earth helping in the battles of 12,000 years ago using flying ships and weapons of advanced technological design, in what is now India and Pakistan behind the weather protection of the Himalayas, using weapons we have discovered lately in some technical variations. Some scientists speculate there is a planet in the asteroid belt that is inhabited by more technologically advanced humans than what we are on Earth. Certainly Climate Change caused the Ganges River to move from the Himalaya watershed feeding the cities in what is now desert in Pakistan, over into India. Collapsing glaciers are believed to be that cause around the 9,000 year mark. Infra-red satellite photos reveal the old rivers and cities of the VEDAS ( Sanskrit writings translated in recent years ) buried under the desert of today. South America has archeological ruins believed to be older than 13,000 years, which are still unexcavated and poorly dated as carvings are in stone which cannot be carbon dated. There is a shortage of archeologists in the world, particularly for the South American continent, which has a longer record of human history than the Mediteranean and Northern Hemisphere areas. The Chibcha Federation was a bigger Empire than anything seen in European and Mediteranean history. Yet little is known of this modern empire ( last 6000 years ) by Euro Centrics. El Mirador over the border from Belize is bigger than New York City today. It encompasses the last 5000 years of Mayan history, but also on the fringes has some ruins of a previous Mayan 5000 year cycle of civilization, with ruins and inscriptions that have not yet been translated. There is another city a hundred miles or more North of El Mirador that is huge compared to El Mirador with population estimated at 10 million. El Mirador itself makes Tikal look like a small village.
Humans have always used religions to explain the inexplicable and in more primitive times, it was easy to control mass populations through superstitious pageantry and mumbo jumbo. Modern very recent human history in the last few thousand years includes the Jewish faith, Christian Faith, Bhuddism, Muslim religions and variations thereof, as they split apart in power plays and the contradictions are used to create new branches. All the Gods are made up fantasies, though something in the brain requires such things for the masses of superstitious humanity in order to make reason out of the unreasonable. Many humans, the majority in fact, find solace in a religion. The Christian faith brought by invaders from Europe over the past five hundred years and all the splinter groups today in Belize are examples. Modern scholarship have found that the Bible is inaccurate, parts of the Bible are simply fireside tales passed along from generation to generation by word of mouth. Roman records show a man named Jesus was executed , but for fifty years afterward nobody ever wrote anything about him. The Gospel of Mathew and Luke were copied from Mark. The authors are unknown and were written for political purposes considered valid at the time. The Christian religion was created four hundred years after Jesus execution. The original books of the New Testament were written in Greek, but these were lost, though copies and changes were made continuously as they were re-copied into Hebrew, to Latin and eventually English. Like all fireside tales, much of the Bible is distorted, untrue, or exaggerated. The Old Testament is copied from Assyrian tablets and these in turn came from the Book of Gilgamesh and in turn some came from the Vedas of India. All of these thousands of years before the Hebrews were invented as a tribe. Any religion is based on illogical blind faith and acceptance. They could not function otherwise in modern scientific terms. The human psyche requires the surrendering of intellect to another mysterious power in order to function in times of turmoil and distress. What were the religions of 150 million years ago for humanity one wonders and what happens as the cycles of the asteroid and comet swarm continue to change the world regularly and reduce human populations to small groups of hunter gathers, scattered far and wide? How long till the next asteroid belt comes again? Some say we are overdue and others say we still have 4000 years or so. You sure don't want to live in the Northern Hemisphere though anywhere on Earth. Pakistan and India are good spots. The Amazon also another good spot. Did you know there are 12 pyramids in the Amazon seen on satellite photos, but still not accessible to archeologists? Or that there are or were 26 cities scattered around the Amazon of indeterminate age? Check the NASA files of photographs. Any new discoveries of human history are going to come from South and Central America, from Pakistan and India, or the Amazon.
