Barnacle, You must have a 300 or 400mm lens thats fast like 3.5 ?

that was a 300, f4, about 15 years old!!
the size of my digital sensor crops it to about 450,, a nice bonus! still a hi quality lens! http://www.bythom.com/300lens.htm

I have just one lens right now its the 18 to 200 nikon zoom VR.I thought it would be all I needed,
but barnacle has got me wanting a longer faster lens.
Its a sport like scuba , you always want better equipment.
