Hi,

I was looking for a little help concerning a new business I'm planning on starting that rents a new product to scuba/snorkelers. I want to keep the product under wraps for the time being. Any advice about location, permits, and feasibility would be greatly appreciated. I think it would be great to go with a dive shop but I won't get the numbers of divers I'll need to keep it going. I figure I can rent as many as 50 a day but need the scuba/snorkelers to pass by to rent and return. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Greg

Have you ever looked up the definition of "feasibility" ? How on God's green and blue earth could anyone ever give you that advice in the dark???

Based upon your only previous post, you should now have completed your 3-month visitation. Was there no time then to do your research?

Move to Belize and rent away. The snuba/snorkels will love it!

He says he figures he can rent as many as 50 a day. I wonder if he's taken slow season into consideration.

Any advice about location, permits, and feasibility

Deliver. People walking by might not want to haul anything more than they already are!

Contact local real-estate companies to find out price ranges of different areas.
If you can get the necessary permission to operate your busisness,
you might want to run it out of your living quarters and deliver the goods to the various dive guides your customers are using, or the customers' lodging.
Or rent space from an existing business.
I believe renting/buying a residence & renting a good location would be expensive for 50 rental units to cover! Even if you could rent all everyday!
Big Deposit good idea!
Maintenance & upkeep of equiptment can be extensive & expensive in the beautiful tropic climate.
Belize it!
