Hello!

My hubby and I live in SP, and have a friend coming to visit in a month. He has already been to SP, so we'd like to come over to CC for at least a night. We haven't been to CC yet.

Can anyone give us some tips on cool, hopefully somewhat inexpensive places to stay, as well as what bars to go to, restaurants and things to do?

What price range do you consider inexpensive?

If you are here on Friday night, you can start off with Dinner at The Sports Bar, VERY POPULAR PLACE, Friday they have Trivia, its very well organized and draws quite the crowd, with cash off your tab as prizes, it starts at 7;30 and gets over about 9 or so. Then you can go over to the Oceanside, its the only nite they have live Music and its good old rock and roll. You may know Dennis Wolfe, then add Scott and a young teenage Derrick both incredible guitar players, Drummer Dan and female electric piano and vocalist.
