Is anyone prepared to give us the BZ version of CNN's Wolf Blitzer making an "early call"?
I'm assuming that someone is conducting "exit polls", since there is no alcohol being served.

I went just before lunch and there wasn't many people there at all. I breezed in and breezed out in two minutes and there wasn't the groups of people hanging around outside trying to sway my vote like the last election. Very Mellow.
I bet I know who's going to win though!

Now if someone can tell me how to get this bloody ink off my finger!!

There's a couple of hundred people hanging around now. The interesting thing I noted were all the people (of voting age) around town wearing red or blue shirts but no ink on their fingers.

I've tried a couple of different solvents just to tone down the colours but nothing seems to work.

I managed to get the purple ink off by soaking my finger in rubbing alcohol.

But the iodine is not budging. I have resigned myself to having a brown finger for a few days - yuck, very unattractive.

Too late now but if you put olive oil on your fingers before going to vote...the ink will wash right off with soap and water.

Amanda, If it doesn't wash off by Sunday, I'd stay away from the Palappa Bar if I were you.
