Several Members asked Steve Schulte after his presentation about a possible flight to Belmopan. With the time and cost to get to Belize City then drive to Belmopan, it seems there would be enough demand. Steve said that Tropic Air was considering it, but that it would help if interested parties contact Tropic Air to show interest, which would help in their decision. [email protected]

good for tourists as well wanting to get to San Ignacio more quickly. Cave tubing and Xunantunich would be that much closer.

I'll e-mail Tropic today. Belmopan is at a crossroads to the west and south, and it's a pain to have to go into Belize City to get transport to San Ignacio or Dangriga. Taking a hop to Belmopan would eliminate some backtracking. Great idea.
