Reggae Fans: I received e-mail today about this. 156 days and counting down - Humboldt, August 1-3.

UB40 and Black Uhuru are 2 bands that will be there - I can't miss it this year!

Is that the same as Reggae on the River? I mean, Reggae on the River got the punt, so is this the replacement?

Used to be ROTR, but $$ finally crept into a wonderful program and it fell apart. The original organizer's of ROTR changed the name to RR.

If you have the opportunity to attend, you really should. This festival is amazing.

Once in my life, I have to get to 9 mile on Bob's birthday weekend (February 6th)

We missed it by a week in 2006, but the idea of thousands making their way up that twisty road to his birthplace and Museum is as close to a pilgrimage as I will ever come.

There is nowhere I have ever been where I've gone 24 hours without the sights and sounds of Mr Marley, one of the great men of our time

SIN, I planned to attend last summer, but work kept me from it. My partner in crime for that weekend, hooked up with another pal and they went without me. They had an absolute blast and it's on the agenda again for this coming summer. Even better for me now, my sister just moved near San Francisco. See ya there. Want to organize a group camp sight? LOL

Work has ALWAYS kept me from going and it is only a 3 hour drive north from my home! LOL Since it is on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday this year, I think I can swing it. Don't do the camping thing, but hope to see you guys up there!
