Wouldn't the Texaco station across the road from the Hideway qualify? Thats a pretty snazzy area, and would help keep the riff-raff down. In fact I've got a bum who's set up "housekeeping" in the trees behind my building for the past three weeks, that we could put on the Greyhound with a tag....Send To: "Texaco Station, SP, BZ". He could do the management and oil changes. Piasano could do the commercials "The Man with the Star", along with overseeing the library of the world's greatest classic literature. Also close enough to get some additional culture to those barge guys down by Coconuts.

Great spot! The Texas gals own Hideaway now, and they have country gravy and biscuits and chicken fried steak. We can have a taste of the south....

free coffee for those about to fall asleep at the wheels of their golf carts?

This sounds like the ideal place, for me to fit in, while I am doing my scuba lessons with Larry Parker at Hideaway.

Jerrico'
At the Hideaway! We had it and bisquits and gravy three times in August. The Texas gals are really a hoot, and all that stuff they're a fixin' is Lo-Cal. They said so. Downstairs, Casey's bartenderess mixes a damn fine blue drink too. (After a short introductory lesson, of course). Ummmm, breakfast on the rock. The Hideaway, Canibals, or Estelles...if SWMBO is a diving I'm there. If she isn't diving I'm there. Gotta have priorities straight in SP.

Ok, we oviously need a truck stop over near the Texaco Station. It would look real nice next to the Belize Yault Club across from the Hideaway. But we still have a problem about needed facilities downtown. The Town Square would be a great place for a truck stop. It would also solve da problem of facilities downtown. We should while were making plans, think about a truck stop over near Basil Jones. This Town planning is fun.

Bill....you stay away from Basil Jones with that truck stop idea....LOL

That food sure sounds good!!! Might have to swing my cart in there tonight! [Linked Image]

You know.....speaking of those facilities...it wouldn't be a bad idea to install a shower head on one of the walls in each one so some of these poor people can have a shower once in a while. Paisano would love it!

If you hear about some tourist being physically removed from the Hideaway, that will be me covered in gravy and smuggling biscuits!
