'Wondering which pharmacy was recommended for filling blood pressure/ cholesterol meds (i.e. Benicar,Lipitor, etc. ). Thanks.

Best and cheapest is the pharmacy in the tourist village in Belize City. I do not have the phone number handy but will look for it. We used them to get meds for my mom.

I always order from Val-U-Med on Princess Margret Drive (across from Karl Heusner hospital) in Belize City (223 4755). They send the meds and I send the check on Tropic.

Are prescriptions needed for most drugs or is it more like in Mexico? It's interesting that I never really thought to ask this before...
