A couple days ago, Spyder hooked me up to a web site to order some Belizian spices. (I am very grateful - I should be eating stew chicken and jerk chicken in about a week!!)
My question is:
Does okra grow in Belize, and if it does, do the people like it and eat it? Do any of them put it in stew chicken? The stew chicken I ate in Guatamala had tons of onion and just a touch of tomato. Is this Ambergris style????
My stew chicken spices were to come with recipes.... I was just wondering.

I did a search under spices and Spyder....and cant find it.
It's probably staring me right in the face...but I'm too lazy to look anymore...LOL
Thanks!

I have enjoyed okra soup at my friends home. They are both from Central America, so they know about okra.

I thought it might be good with stew chicken, but didn't know if this would be sacrilege......
