Pedro2 said: Electric carts are quieter than gas, and especially so when the batteries have gone flat!
seashell replies: I agree!! As quiet as a gas cart that's out of gas.

Regardless, while it makes more sense to have a gas cart that will take you further when you are going further, I still miss a quiet electric cart when I'm in a normally quiet part of the island. That's all I'm saying.
Here at home or away, I don't particularly like to hear seadoos, jetskis, ATV's, etc., when I'm camping or on shore by the lake. This carries over to my preferring to be in an electric cart, that's whisper quiet.
Oh, and I can't get this darn song out of my head:
Oh Canada, Our home and native land!
True patriot love
. . .in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise. . .
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land,
glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Damn, I'm feeling so patriotic tonight. Thanks Pedro2. I'm happy that I'm a Canadian, though I do wish it was a bit closer to Belize.
