I'm not sure about your specific hotel, but Journey's nd and a few others have closed down! Apparently the situation is pretty bad, and they are telling toursits to stear clear of Belize for the next 2-3 weeks!

have read reporting from Sheila (mgr)that the Mayan Princess is Ok, but what about the Mayan Princess at Banana Beach?? Which side of the island is it on, thats the one my son Corey and his 2 friends are at?

anyone with friends/family at Banana Beach Hotel i got word yesterday everyone is fine and there is food and water. EXCELLENT!

What about the Mata Chica? I heard it is completely leveled...my fiance and I were going there for our honeymoon starting October 29,2000...should we still come? should we wait?
